Observation of a Nine Month Old Baby
He is bigger than to be expected in size which is a good thing. I put him on the floor with a play mat in his play room. The baby was very curious wondering what all the toys was so, he would crawl to one toy grab it lay down and play with it, then when he would become tired with the toy he would move to another toy.
His cognitive development took effect when I called to him and he would look around at me, then when I made funny noises or faces he would smile and try to speak. His social development he would pretend he was coughing and I would go pat his back then he would look up at me and smile like I got you. When I speak to him he would try to talk back.
Week Two Observation 3.
Observation of a Two Year Old Toddler
The toddler I observed is a male. He is average height and the right weight. When I started focusing on the toddler he was outside with his 5 year old brother playing softball. He was able to hit the ball and run to bases while smiling.
The toddler knows his name and tried to answer whatever was being asked of him. The little boy was tired of playing softball so, he went and started playing by his self with a bigger ball and was kicking the ball.
The social behavior of the boy he would smile when he was asked to hit the ball and run. The little boy would kick the ball and when it went in the woods, the father asked him not to kick the ball this way but to kick it another way and the little boy followed instructions kicking the ball in another direction.
The communication helped the toddler process a better mode instead of him hearing the word no.
