Warrior Ethos
I will always place the mission first, I will never accept defeat, I will never quit, I will never leave a fallen comrade. All words spoken from the heart and soul of every living US soldier. Words that can be heard loud and proud at graduations and special ceremonies throughout our great nation. The warrior ethos were embeded into our minds from early on in training. Unless you were the child of a proud soldier who lived by them. Then you knew the meaning they held from a young age. The meaning they hold for me is very dear to the way I live my life since I was introduced to them. Each respresenting something different to me in its own way.
-We are trained to be warriors. As such we have a code, a set of ethos to live by, to guide our lives, on and off the field. Mission first, never accept defeat, never quit, never leave a fallen comrade, these are the guidelines by which each and every Army soldier lives by.
-every Soldier that has entered Basic Training has been taught that the Warrior Ethos, rooted in Army values, and founded on the premise that service to our Nation is an honor and a responsibility that requires self-sacrifice.
-The Warrior Ethos is a set of principles by which every Soldier lives. In a broader sense, the Warrior Ethos is a way of life that applies to our personal and professional lives as well. They define who we are and who we aspire to become.
