Brenná Griffin, a professional song stylist, originally from Detroit, Michigan, is capable of putting her stamp on diverse musical styles, from Jazz, Soft Rock, Gospel, Broadway, and Classic R&B to Standards. Brenna decorates a melody, illuminates a lyric, but never loses the essential thread of the song itself.
She toured with the world renowned United States Air Force "Tops in Blue" Entertainment Showcase for two consecutive years. She was hand selected to perform live before the late Bob Hope and his wife Delores on the 'Tribute Show "in honor of his achievements in the late 80's. Ms Griffin has shared the stage with great performers such as The Commodores, The Platters, Chuck Berry, Sergio Mendez and Brazil 2000, Tanya Tucker, Mel Tillis, Little Richard, Mary Wilson, La Mafia, War, and Tennille from the famed duo Captain and Tennille, just to name a few. Her exceptional sound has allowed her to grace the stage of the San Antonio's Jazz Alive in Travis Park, open for Jazz guitarist Jonathan Butler at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa.
Locally Brenna has performed at Luca Ristorante Enoteca at the Fairmont Hotel, The Hilton Palacio Del Rio, The Grill at Leon Springs, Milano Ristorante Italiano, the Winestyles, Rio De Vino Wine Bar and Café, Riposa Bistro and Wine Bar, Tommy Moore's Café, and as a guest performer at El Jarro De Arturo, Delores Del Rio on the San Antonio Riverwalk, and San Antonio's "New Years Eve 2000" Party with guest performances on Great Day SA, and FOX 29 New. Brenna performed at the 5th Annual San Antonio Summer Art and Jazz Festival, where her CD of classic standards entitled "Born For Such a Time" was released.
