"Live the dream", one of Stub Hub's slogans, is trying to claim that the dream of wanting to go see any live concert or sport event is no longer a fantasy. Stub Hub has a way to make that type of dreams happens. Having a hard time finding ticket to see live entertainment events is not an issue anymore. Stub Hub is an online site where hard-to-get or sold out tickets to concerts, sports, and theaters are available to be purchased. Its advertisement has a goal of getting as many as people to buy the offering products. The visual image of the advertisement does not just focus on things that concerns about Stub Hub, but it also focuses on customer's satisfaction. This is a fine method that can be used to help the ad reaches its goal. This advertisement seems to be exaggerated in some areas; however, it is victorious in attracting the customer's attention. Purpose of this advertisement is to let the customers know how easy it is to find tickets to see live entertainment events when using Stub Hub. Even when the tickets are sold out and cannot be bought anywhere else, Stub Hub guarantees that those tickets will be available to be bought on Stub Hub's website.
The arguer wants us to believe that finding tickets to see live entertainment events is very easy when using Stub Hub. In the visual image of the Stub Hub printed advertisement, there are lots of tickets falling down from the sky; this reflects the availability and easiness of purchasing tickets from Stub Hub. Also in the picture, the woman is sitting down relaxing and seems very delight with everything around her. The ad wants us to believe that by purchasing its products, customers will experience fantastic moment of their lives at the event they attend. By just providing a slogan and some texts, it would not be a well constructed method in persuading readers to comply with the advertisement. Elements in the visual image, such as wild animals, Marshal Amplification, football field, and fireworks are represent theater, concert, sport, and other entertainment events; these elements are some important pieces that help contribute in making the advertisement even more interesting. Once the advertisement gets interesting, readers are more likely to read and comply positively. If the advertisement using only words to describe their products, many people will find it as boring and they are not likely to read carefully. Visual image can provide a better understanding about the advertisement, and it can tell the customers what to expect from the company.
Most people would question about an advertisement that only has visual image, and they would probably wonder what exactly is the advertisement is trying to sell them.
