McBride Financial Services is a new diminutive mortgage company that offers low cost mortgage resolutions for individuals. Boise, Idaho is the company's headquarter. The organizations most important focal point is FHA and VA home loans for refinancing and purchasing. However, for the purpose of this paper the writer will discuss the following: (1) market research, (2) types of media, (3) target markets, and (4) consideration for marketing on the Internet. The company caters to families seeking to obtain a primary or secondary property (Rogers, 2010). McBride is looking to add to their offices in North Dakota, Wyoming, and South Dakota.
First, McBride will need to do marketing research to ensure the designed marketing campaign is valuable for the company. A consumer market research will permit the company to examine the buying habits of individuals. The writer thinks that McBride should use descriptive research. The company should use this research, as it will help the organization to see what the market demand is, where the most need for the demand is, the type of product in demand, and by whom. Performing this form of research, this will give McBride the chance to market to a particular group of people more apt to purchase the company's services.
Second, selecting the correct brand of advertising media is extremely vital for any business. McBride plans to use the Internet, television ads, informative handouts, local radio ads, local newspaper ads, and local realtors (University of Phoenix, 2003). Because the business, target market is toward professional, retirees, and families it is important that the organization choose media geared toward the specific audience. Research shows that retirees are more probable to rely on newspaper advertisements. To target families, McBride should use radio and television advertisement. Using the Internet is the best approach to reach professionals because he or she accesses Internet regularly.
Finally, before getting into online advertising, it is essential that McBride learn as much as possible about Internet marketing. Internet Marketing is one of the more useful ways for a business to advertise. According to Rogers (2010), before starting an online market campaign, a company should have concise ideas and perfect time management.
