Films advanced tremendously since they have been created. Views on the films vary from one person to the next. I decide what type of film to watch by my interests. Finding out what the film is about first before intending to watch or is it a waste of time. Another reason to pick a film is through family, friends, classmates or co-workers. Most of the time the people that are close to you will recommend good films. The films have to be knowledgeable as well. For me, what interest me are sports, auto, comedy, nature, and action films.
Films bring emotion during the time you watch it and possibly later after the film have ended. There are many ways, in my opinion, to make a film enjoyable. Everyone deserves a good laugh and comedy films will do just that, make you laugh. I believe this is number one for me on why I watch a film. Motivational/inspirational films are other second on my list. Films can really turn peoples attitude around and help them commit to something they really want. It could be fiction or non-fiction; these types of films have ways of helping people for the greater good. A film that keeps you on your toes on what is going to happen next is key for enjoyment. Always wanting to know more and more as the film plays on. Having a detailed story line and unpredictable ending to a film can keep my eyes peeled to it.
On the other hand, there are many ways a film can be dreadful to watch. First if it does not even interest me I will not even bother to watch unless forced to. Too much nonsense speaking in a film will lose my interest. If I cannot relate to the film or it just does not make any sense. Films should be beneficial for the right people who watch them. If not for anyone, there is no use for that particular film. There are millions of films out there, these are just some ways on which ones I decide or not decide to watch.
