Vaccines for Children in the Usa

In the interest of public safety government entities were created that makes it mandatory for children in the United States to receive vaccines before becoming enrolled in public schools (Article 4). However, states have allowed children to become exempted from these mandatory vaccines if they are undergoing chemotherapy, have received solid organ transplant, or they are unable to receive vaccines due to medical contradictions (Article 4).
The number of parents that are refusing to vaccinate their child because of personal beliefs are increasing tremendously (Article 4). The unvaccinated child is at huge risk of being ill and then passing the disease onto children who have religious or medical exemptions or to children that are to young to be vaccinated (Article 4). The communities that have a large number of parents that refuse to vaccinate their children due to personal beliefs expose the community to higher risk of disease outbreaks (Article 4).
