The SUV's idea starts with a simple analysis. The pros of the SUV line are that the vehicle has good engine capacity and performance. It has a powerful braking system with hydraulic system called LCRV and the pickup has enough power to run up to high speed with no problem. The SUV seats up to seven people and it is equipped to haul enough people's luggage on vacation anywhere (Force One SUV, 2011).
One con of the switch would be the loss of loyal customers. If loyal customers do not agree with the product switch they may decide to buy from a different company. Another con to the switch would be the popularity of SUVs. Even with gas prices being high in 2010 SUV sales were up 19% for just the first half of the year (Healey, 210, SUV sales surging faster than small cars, para.5). This indicates that SUVs are still very popular to consumers and may still have a chance in the market to come.
I think that people are buying more cars. Because cars get better gas mileage so you don't spend as to much money on gas as you would have to do with an SUV. When you buy any type of vehicle it will have it's pros and cons to buying.
