From the above image, it is the conversation between two cows. As we can see, one is on the ground as well as the other is upside down on the tree. We have the common sense like, the normal cows should be on the ground with four legs and they will never climb a tree or anything. That is “normality” that we think about. However, on the image, we can see the one on the ground looks very confused when it sees the other one. The other cows is crossing hands and looks impatient. From the dialogue, “Define normal”! makes me think about we always try to be a normal people and when we see somebody are acting differently, we will consider that they are abnormal. In fact, what is the borderline between the normality and abnormality? Who knows? Maybe the normality that we want to be is abnormal in others’ opinion. Between these two cows, I learned that there is no normal or abnormal. To the upside down cow, we cannot say it is wrong or abnormal. It just lives differently to the ground one. Why we think other people are different because we have the different view about the society and the world. They have their own views either, and we should respect each other. We try to meet the value of this society and being normal but the most important thing is that you should be yourselves. Being normal or abnormal is not that different, everybody has their own perspectives and we do not need to judge each other. Being respectful and kind. Everyone is the same.
