According to Bram Stoker's original novel, Dracula, Count Dracula has pale skin, hooked nose, bright red lips and pointed teeth with black eyes. He had a slim build and dressed in all black. At first in the book he has aristocratic looks. He had silver hair and it became even darker throughout the novel as he gets more and better blood supply. In Twilight by Stephanie Meyers, Edward Cullen is described as being incredibly beautiful. At various points in the book series, she compares him to the mythical Greek god Adonis. She describes His skin is "like marble" it is "very pale, ice cold, and sparkles in the sunlight. She describes his facial features as being" absolutely perfect and angular. He has "high cheekbones, strong jawline, a straight nose, and full lips. His hair, which is always messy, retains the unusual black shade that he genetically got from his human life from his biological mother". His eyes, which were once green, are now described as topaz. His appearance changes if he goes along time without feeding. His eyes darken, it becomes almost black, and purple bruises appear beneath his eyes when he does not drink blood for long times. He has a slender but muscular body. Count Dracula and Edward Cullen have many similarities but many differences, as well. Bram Stoker's book Dracula represents vampires in an evil aspect while Stephanie Meyer's Twilight represents in a lovely way.

The perspectives of vampires had changed throughout history. The stories about vampires still represent the same theme, which is love. The theme is love, but it is represented in different ways.
