Introduction
In the end The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. is one of the best known brand names in the world. Caser Ritz is the founder for this company by open the first hotel in Boston. Caser Ritz died in 1918 and his wife Marie continued the work and expansion the hotels of the same name as her husband name. In 1927 the Ritz-Carlton opened and other hotels followed in different places. The Ritz-Carlton hotel company is hotel chine characterized by luxury and ritzy. The hotel distributed in 75 different countries and with 38,000 employers. The Ritz-Carlton has a main goal and it is to build a strong relationship between them employers and the gust. And it is hosts many events such as graduation ceremonies, weddings and conferences. The main motto for hotel is "we are ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen." In Ritz-Carlton they have a strong and value mission and strategies, the employers have to create life for Ritz-Carlton gusts, they also have to understand the roles and achieve the hotel goals. The Rites-Carlton have to issues: Firstly, how should the employers treat the gust and what they should say to him. Secondly, they went the hotel servers be the best and all the gusts praise the hotel service.
What challenges do you think the company faced in changing the Culture?
The Ritz-Carlton has a culture which is their standard, beliefs and values about who the employers should act with the quests. Ritz-Carlton motto is "We are Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen. In the fact the Ritz-Carlton culture to treat their employers as people have a value so they don't call them employers but they call them Ladies and Gentlemen as the Simon Cooper, the President and Chief operating Officer of Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company say. And he added that the culture must keep the company functioning at high levels, and there culture is old and need to change if stay they went to stay the best in the major. And here is some challenge they faced:
Research
The Ritz-Carlton should do a lot of research to know how necessary they need to change, and what the negative affections they may be faced if they change the company culture.
Employment
The employers afraid they may lose their job or they will do something they don't do before. Or maybe they will have a negative affect about the change. In the Ritz-Carlton when they select the employer they ask for beliefs and values, they don't need only years of experience if it doesn't match with company culture.
