The Pyramid of Mind
Differences in intellectuality amongst generations can sometimes be the exact opposite. Ways of environment, resources to learn, and most important the advancement of technology are all factors. People of the same generation still have their own ways to think since there are plenty of different processes to go about it. Meaning morals in daily life, or something simple as deciding on what kind of career they want to pursue. With Bloom's Taxonomy chart, looking at both sides I could completely agree with them going from nouns to verbs since today is more of a "self-help" type society. There also can obviously be the key explanation that the first chart was made in 1956, with times drastically changing before the new one was constructed in 1990. Bloom's Taxonomy is the higher order of thinking. Imagine a pyramid to get to the top, you must first finish what is on the bottom. Bloom's Taxonomy is divided into 6 different sections, each one specifying what skills are being demonstrated. It seems that Bloom's idea was to show people the ways in intellectually, which it forth says the many verbs in how they may go about it. There is also the thought of how people would use those verbs in an educational sense of how they go throughout the process of learning. Education does come into the concept of Bloom's Taxonomy, since all six categories along with their respected descriptions can apply to a mind of a student.

Second is the Comprehension level, which is the level of understanding. Next is the Application level and in this level a person has learned the information taught and can apply the information. Fourth would be Analysis, this level is where a person who is taught information can see different patterns or hidden meanings in the information. Another words that person can break it down and explain it to someone else. Next would by the Synthesis level, this level is where a person has learned the information and rearrange it or modify it or use old ideas to create new ones. The last level of categorizing is Evaluation this is the level where a person can compare ideas, and judge or explain the judgment.
To further understand Bloom's research is to know that "taxonomy" and "classification" is similar terms. Bloom's Taxonomy is a leveled model of classifying thinking to six levels of a kind of intellectual standpoint. Throughout the years, the levels have often been referred to as a stairway. I'm
