The paleolithic and Neolithic societies differed regarding to trade because Paleolithic soceity was nomadic while Neolithic soceity was sedentary. The Paleolithic society followed the path the animals traveled this is why they where never able to set a stable place to live. This resulted from their nomadic movement, they couldnt harvest, or gather surplus amounts of food for their community. In France there are many places that have cave paintings which showed the peoples culture like them hunting. These cave paintings proved that they did not stay in one paticular area for very long. The Neolithic society came up a way to harvest wheat, barley, and domesticate animals. There where many places in the world that showed the Neolithics werent nomadic. Since they could grow and harvest very fast, they were able to produce surplus food which allowed them to trade for things they needed. This comparison between the two societies showed the significants between each other because the evidence proved that the Neolithic society tared which gave a start to a civilization that shaped the world as we know it today.
