The Original Style: My Way
My clothing style says a lot about my personality. I am outgoing, free spirited person who like to stand out and be different. Ever as a child, my mom made sure, that all my outfits were different. All my clothes had to match included my undergarment and my hair looks nice. My mother would not buy me clothes that other children were wearing. She says I need to be original, and not be a copycat to let others copy my style. My mother helps me created my original style. Clothes are like an experimental adventure to me.
My different style for clothes and shoes followed me through- out my life. I prided myself in high school on being a trendsetter and coming up with a great wardrobe ideas before anybody else did. I would go out of town to scour the malls and women's boutiques, for the prefect tops or little cute jacket or pant suites and sexy dresses and shoes. I admit that I love clothes, but shoes and jewelry is my thing. I do my best to be a stylish and "in the know" woman about town. I love to dress up but I am more conservative in my color choices. For Example, I chose a chic classy look for the birthday party that I was attending that night. A pair of soft black trousers, a sexy navy camisole, and a pair of navy sling back pumps. I took along dressy wrap in case it got chilly later that night.
I seem to be on top of my style, but I must admit, I have one weakness. ..SHOES! Shoes are essential, so it its so bad to splurge every now and then on something important? Sexy high heel shoes, silky black shoes, little leather flat shoes, I love them all. From the scent of fresh cut leather to the soft sensual feeling of a new sole, I absorb every ounce of joy a shoe has to offer. As superficial as I sound, I am the same way when it comes to my jewelry. Lord helps me; I have so much jewelry, like gems and diamonds, sterling silver rings, necklaces. Honey, I do not go anywhere without my jewelry.
I do ordinary and everyday wear as differently as I can. I like subtlety with a dash of sophistication and charm. For Example, I like to sport a brightly colored scarf to complete an ensemble, with a red or electric blue T-shirt and pair of skinny leg jeans. I love the boldness of the color and am not afraid to wear a pair of red or blue high heel shoes or to complete an outfit with a red or blue purse. It takes guts and panache to wear a hat, and I have both! Instant sex appeal and a hat go together. I always stick with classic shapes such as the fedora or the beret and cowgirl hats.
