The Lord of the Rings Review
The Lord of the Rings was written by J.R.R. Tolkien. These books have an epic high fantasy story line to them and within the first chapter the book can draw you in for hours and hours and hours. In tale of Frodo Baggins and Sam-wise Gamgee, Frodo inherits a ring but unknown to him that this ring is the ring of power forged in the land of Mordor where the dark lord resides.
This part of the book review will be quick and dart and over the books. Frodo inherits the ring of power for Bilbo and Gandalf shows him that it is the ring of power. They take the ring to Rivendell to seek the council of lord Elrond half-elven during this a fellowship of nine (Frodo the ring bearer, Ligulas, Aragón, Gimli, Gandalf, Boemer, merry, Pippen and Sam-wise Gamgee) is formed nine to take on the nine Nazgul. During their rest along the river banks a group of Uraki attack Frodo and Sam go across the river on their own to save the rest of the group. In the misty mountains Frodo and Sam encounter Gollum (Sméagol) who has been deformed and corrupted by the ring.
The massage Tolkien is trying to get across is that the youngest of people can do the greatest things along with the ring represents a drug and that the moment you start using it you will want more and you the "bearer" will do anything to get it and keep it.
The lord of the rings is a very well written book and is a great book for anyone looking for a good griping story along with character's who you will grow to love-and hate.
