"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. Its was here first." Mark Twain
Many individuals in the world fail to understand how lucky we are to be able to live in our society with our freedoms. Throughout my life i never understood why my father had so much pride in the flag of the United States. if there was a location where my father could place the American flag, he would without hesitation try to express his strong beliefs in our incredible country. After high school, my brother immediately joined the marines.Unfortunately, a few weeks after his first deployment, he was killed in action. My brothers death gave me a hands on lesson on how precious life is and how fast it can be lost. His death made me rekindle my relationships with my former non-patriotic friends, and find more patriotic ones. In my collage, I present a varied amount of different photos that explain my beliefs in life and my goals also. In my collage, I have a scripture of the soldiers creed, the soldiers creed is very important to me because it represents what every American citizen should strive to be, it also inspires me to become a better person. My collage also contains pictures of ultimate career goals which include becoming a emergency room physician. I have always want to become a doctor because I love helping people, and also it makes me feel as though I am giving back to my society. I represent technology in my collage because it also plays a major role in my life. I find it quite interesting of how man originally were writing with rocks and stones, and now we are writing on touch screens, some even voice operated. I find technology a very important aspect of my life because if it were not for technology, I would not be able to try this paper. My collage also contains different aspects of Colleges and Universities. Education is very important to me in my life. I have always wanted to attend college and become a educated African-American. My brother's death inspired me to go after my goals in life regardless of how difficult the task may be. Every American citizen should take advantage of the freedoms that we have because in countries such as Afghanistan and Iraq, our freedoms would be non-existent. Set your goals high in life, and let nothing stand in the way of accomplishing them.
