Norway

These are some of the landmarks in Norway. One of them is the world’s deepest tunnel at 287 meters deep(“22 Interesting Facts”) Also the lateral road tunnel is the world’s largest road tunnel at 24.5 km, also known as 15 miles(22 Interesting Facts). Another landmark is that is has the most Northern towns in the world. Norway’s coastline is long enough to circle the planet two and a half times(22 Interesting Facts). They also have the most interesting facts about food there. The cheese slicer was invented in Norway by Thor Bjorklund(Norway Facts). One of their famous foods is Rokt Laks (Smoked Salmon).

They also got some really cool facts about their Language there. They speak Germanic (Norwegian). So in Norway “Texas” is slang for “Crazy”.(Norway Facts). Also Norway is the birthplace of modern Skiing(Norway Facts). The word “Ski” is norwegian for “Piece of Wood”. They have one cool fact about their Penguins. They say that in 2008 they knighted a Penguin(Norway Facts).

They also some amazing facts about people! Norway’s public Universities are free for students from anywhere in the world. In the Norwegian town of Longyearbyen, it is illegal to die(Norway Facts).Only 10 Police officers have been killed in Norway since World War 2(Norway Facts). All prisoners in Norway have internet in their cells. Advertising to children under the age of 12 is illegal in Norway(22 Interesting Facts).

Skateboards were banned in Norway between 1978 and 1989 because they have cause deaths and accidents when skaters speed in street traffic(22 Interesting Facts). Norway has the highest gas prices at $10.12 a gallon of premium gas(22 Interesting Facts). Half of all new cars in Norway are electric or Hybrid. Norway is also one of the wealthiest countries in the world(Norway Facts).

As you can see from above is that there are a lot of really awesome facts about Norway so when you get the chance come visit Norway and just see for yourself on how amazing Norway is.
