My opinion maybe quite different from the ones who strongly disagree on this topic.......I strongly agree that whether that parents are both women, men, or different sexes shouldn't determine whether or not you can raise your child.
Some people judge that kids that are brought up in a household with parents of the same sex have low self-esteem, gender identity, or emotional problems from children growing up in heterosexual parent homes. I have been a witness to this type of activity for about nine-years now, and the child is fine. She thinks highly of both her mother. She's smart, athletic, has wonderful grades, and both her parents are involved in her life on a daily basis.
Honestly, it doesn't matter who the parents are. If you are involved in that child's life, and let them know that no matter what they do and how they do it, it will not change the aspects of there life style and how they live. Scientific research has been generally consistent in showing that gay and lesbian parents are as fit and capable as heterosexual parents, and their children are as psychologically healthy and well-adjusted as children reared by heterosexual parents. Major associations of mental health professionals in the U.S., Canada, and Australia have not identified credible empirical research that suggests otherwise.[5][6][7][8][9] Based on the robust nature of the evidence available in the field, Third District Court of Appeal State of Florida was satisfied in 2010 that the issue is so far beyond dispute that it would be irrational to hold otherwise; the best interests of children are not preserved by prohibiting homosexual adoption.[10]
