410have to take courses on subjects like The Bank Secrecy Act, Fraud Money Laundering and Sexual Harassment. HR is also needed to help improve the quality of work life for all employees. If employees are experiencing job-related stress, that can lead to lack of commitment, a drop in productivity and possibly the employee leaving the company. This of course is not a good situation to be in because the company spends a lot of money and resources training the employee.
Employees can be reassured that the necessities of the employee are met, so a company can have productive and motivated employees. These necessities may be health care coverage, daycare, vacation time, comp-time, investment packages or training. Whatever, the employee may need to make it an encouragement to be a productive counter-part of the business.
Employees benefit from having an HR partner because they can help employees with any internal problems they may have in regards to management or any questions they may have concerning benefits, training, promotions, and employee rights. Having HR as a partner, also frees up management from dealing with employee relations issues, and allowing manager to spend more time concentrating on management issues.
There are numerous risks involved with HR and the organization as a whole, if HR does not make this a priority and instead remains a purely task-oriented department mostly administrative in nature. Without HR as a strategic partner, the organization will not effectively implement their strategic plan. HR may not be able to improve the organization performance. The company may lack competitive compensation to keep talent within the company.
