Testing Process

The testing process is basically finalizing the system before  launching into full operations.  This process is to help find any issues with the system. It will find errors or anything is off tempo with the system and it will also fix these problems. This part of the system preparation should be smooth and easy flowing. With that being said we will make sure the system is accurate and functioning right . This is vital to this company because of keeping track of customers account and points etc. The points need to accurately add and subtract points. Another important part of the testing process is the integration part because this makes sure the interface is compatible and running properly. The interface can make or break the system website etc. If it's not running right our customers will more than likely not use the new shopping program. With testing every section of the system must be tested and after this is done we can test the whole system. We want to make sure everything is working properly and nothing is interfering with one another. All data that is to be transfer we must make sure it's done so with the new data base. We want our customers information and points to accurate, as-well-as easy navigation. The easier we make for our customers the better results that comes out with the new system. The final stage of testing is the performance testing. This part is to make sure the response time is right and making sure the user requirements are being meet. Even after this final test is done and everything checks out good it still must be approved by the programmers etc.

Installation & Training Plan

With installation process its making sure implementing the new system and features. It can be possible that something's could overlap each other. This should not be a big concern because if this is the case it can be removed or relocated. Installation should be broken into portions instead all at once. This allows to catch and fix problems that may occur during installation. This can take some time but it also can save a disaster from happening. With installation all data must be backup in case something were to happen.  During installation the department etc, should be temporarily closed until completion. This allows adequate time for installation or any errors need attention. In these types of situations customers have no business accessing their accounts. It could lead to frustrations or problems and we can notify them we are updating the system. Lastly we must have proper personal during the installation process and the correct amount.

Training

With training it's also a very important process and cannot be ignored. This part is important because the users etc, must be knowledgeable on the new system. If they are not familiar with the system it can cause more problems.  We must have training classes with real examples of the new system and this is where questions can be ask. We also will provide one-on-one training for those who do not adapt as quickly. We will also have a guideline handbook for future issues. We will provide the right amount of time for everyone to grasp the new system.
