About the company Tesco

In 2016, 90% of all mobiles in UK will be smartphones, so Tesco have planned a strategy for this technology and they think costumers will spend £ 4.5 billion this year.
This sort of technology will increase of 584% in only to years. Tesco was the worlds first company, which launched a virtual store in South Korea in Gatwick airport
Tesco also focus on the shop home in UK, and placed three virtual mirrors (F&F), “Broccoli cam”, “Scan as you shop” and electronics labels. What could be the consequences with all this technology, which apportion and inconvenience could it has. In this essay, I therefore will attempt to find answer to the this one questions by first describing, then analysing and finally I will asses which consequences Tesco’s technology have.

Tesco is a huge company, which is very good because they have so much market share.
They have so much market share because the new technology expert Mike McNamara who launched so much technology in all the stores. The big company was the first company, which has so many opportunities with all this technology in the shops. Is not only easy to operate with, but it also very useful for the employees but not for everyone. Tesco has launched a virtual store in South Korea’s airport that is actually very helpful for all the customers that they come home to a fill fridge, if the suppliers aren’t late. In the store back in UK they developmental “Scan as you shop”, “Broccoli cam”, “Smart badge for employees” and “Electronic shelf edge labels”. The “Broccoli cam” “Smart badge for employees” and “Electronic shelf edge labels” is a very big help for the employees if they can handle the technology. But all this “Scan as you shop” and the virtual shop in South Korea
would maybe shut some of the old people down.

All these consequences are a gamble, because if the wise old one will not accept this change, maybe they will loose a lot of customers. If an error occurs, it shoots maybe the whole shop down. With all this technology will maybe result later a shut down for many employees.
If the old ones actually give it changes, it could result in a bigger gross profit and maybe more customers. All this technology will make an easy shopping for everyone. The Technology will maybe replace the employees at the checkout, but maybe there will be many service employees to handle the new technology.

After looking at the advantages and disadvantages then it probably would be they should keep and innovate the technologies. All can handle the technology because it is so easy to use and work with for both the young and elderly. Tesco is thinking forward to the new generation, which is the right thing because the elderly will not be here forever.

The conclusion is the technology has maybe some consequences but it is not negative, because everyone will/can handle this user-friendly technology. The old one will probably not accept it in the start, but more and more shops will get such a technology, so they just need to accept it.  My name is Hello my names is what is that for a question?
