Introduction


In our country, we have so many talented and bright people all around. Many of them don't know about their talent and potential. If they could be nursed and trained, they could have done something better for the people, better for the society and better for the economy. We can change the world if we can nurse them and help them reaching their destiny. That’s why we have planned to start a Organization that will nurse the young entrepreneurs to help them being successful in their business life. If they can be successful, they will be able to do something for the society and for the country. As nowadays IT (information technology) related products have a huge demand, we have planned to train our entrepreneurs in IT sector which will lead them to success.

Name of the Company

After a lot of discussions, the name we fixed for our Organization is “Entra”. The reasons behind selecting this name are discussed below:

  1. In terms of naming, the first thing that is needed to remember is that the name must be small and soothing. Keeping the name short helps the customers to remember it. For that reason, a name with only one or two syllable is better. That’s why we have started finding a short name and the name “Entra” seemed lucrative to us and we hope, it would be easy for the customers to remember.
  2. As we are dealing with “entrepreneurship”, a name which has somewhat similarity with “entrepreneurship” in pronunciation will work better. Keeping that in mind, we have named our organization “Entra” which has similarity with “Entrepreneurship” in pronunciation which will help the customers building a idea of our organization after hearing the name.
  3. Sometimes, the initial name doesn't suit with the company’s business after the company expands its business and product line. While naming, we kept this in mind and named “Entra” which does not have any exact meaning. That’s why it wont create any conflicts if we extend our services further than entrepreneurial training.

Overview of the Company

“Entra”, our proposed organization will be a service based company. The service we will provide is linked to entrepreneurship. We are planning to provide all the services needed for a man to become a successful entrepreneur. We will give our customers knowledge based training, practical training, internship facility, counseling, legal helps for starting a business, consultation etc. We will also act as a intermediary for finding capitals and other helps for the new entrepreneurs. At first, our plan is to start with the entrepreneurs who want to do IT sector business in the future. Later, we will expand our service area and will provide nursing service for entrepreneurs who what to do business in other fields. Our business will be self-financed and sole-partnership in nature. The target market of our organization is those people who have some computer knowledge, studying in any university, looking for a job for being self established.

Goals and Objectives

The objectives we’ve set for our organization to opt for are mainly relating to our service and quality. These goals and objectives are discussed below briefly-

  1. Firstly, establishing one thousand young people as successful entrepreneurs in the IT industry.
  2. Spreading the spirit of entrepreneurship among the young people of Bangladesh.
  3. Providing all the necessary services someone needs to be a successful entrepreneur.
  4. Being profitable, but profit maximization is not the first priority. Serving the customer with the best service possible is the first priority.
  5. Building a nice relationship between the entrepreneurs and the creditors.

All our goals say more or less same thing, providing better service and helping people being entrepreneurs as well as possible.

Missions and Visions

The mission statement we have selected for our organization is “Entrance of the new world of possibility”. Through this mission statement, we tried to express that we are the entrance of a new world of possibility. That means, we are here to show people the possibilities of success. We will help them to unleash their full potential, help them to reach their destiny.

Our mission is to serve customer in the best possible way. Ensuring customer satisfaction we view to make profit and and to be sustainable. We should be ethical in our operation, and equity should also be maintained. All our business operations should be environmentally safe. Workers should be paid fairly and nice working condition should be ensured.

The vision of our organization is to make an successful entrepreneur form every family of our country. This vision is so hard to achieve but we believe that this can be attainable through successful operation. Our vision is to spread the spirit of entrepreneurship to every door of the country. We dream that exporting IT products will be the first exporting product of our country and Bangladesh would be lead the IT industry of the world being the top IT Product exporter of the world.

Market Segmentation and Target Market

To find the target market, which we want to serve, we have used few segmentation tools. Through this segmentation tools we have identified our specific target market whom we can profitably serve. Market segmentation procedure is discussed below.

  • Geographic Segmentation: In the beginning, we won’t have enough resources available to serve the customers of whole Bangladesh. That's why keeping our deficiencies in mind, we have omitted few areas and identified two major geographic segments we can profitably and effectively serve. These two geographic segments we want to serve is shown in the following.
  1. Customers based in Dhaka: Most of our probable customers, who have some sort of IT knowledge and want to pursue their career in IT business, lives in Dhaka. That's why we have selected Dhaka as the main geographic segment to serve. Lots of universities are situated in Dhaka who have Computer and IT students. These students are easy to nurse and their probability is high in being successful as IT businessman. Besides, lots of educated unemployed people are there in Dhaka who can easily become successful IT entrepreneur if they get proper guidance and nursing. That's why we think that targeting the people of Dhaka through geographical segmentation is a good choice.
  2. Customer based in Chittagong: Chittagong is the second largest city of Bangladesh and perhaps the second most important city of Bangladesh in terms of trade and business. We have selected Chittagong as a geographical segment to serve. The reason behind our selection is the availability of skilled (skilled in terms of Computer and IT knowledge) young people. Chittagong is also a home to many universities which means the number of potential customers is also higher in this geographical segment. That's why we have chosen Chittagong to serve and we think it's perhaps a good decision.

  • Demographic Segmentation: We have taken two demographic factors - age and education in consideration and segmented the market to find our target market. Demographic tools are thought as the best tool for market segmentation and that's why we've used demographic segmentation to find the specific target market that we can serve profitably and effectively. Demographic segmentation based on two demographic factors are described below.
  1. Demographic Segmentation based on Education: Education is a major demographic factor for segmentation. As we are planning to create entrepreneurs in the IT sector, minimum computer skills and english literacy is badly needed. That's why we require that our target customers must have at least HSC degree in his portfolio. That means all the people who have passed HSC examination is considered as our target market and the people whose education qualification is less than intermediate level is exempted from our target market.
  2. Demographic Segmentation based on Age: Age is another major factor for demographic segmentation. For being a successful young entrepreneur, one needs to be young so that he has enough time for learning. Our target customer must be hard working and have capability to take risks. That's why we think that age of our customers must be aged in between 18 to 28. It means based on age as a demographic factor, our target customer must aged in between 18 to 28.

In the end, the target market we have identified with market segmentation tools is the people who are aged between 18 to 28, who have at least a intermediate degree living in Dhaka and Chittagong. All the people fulfilling these conditions are considered as our target market and we hope that we can profitably serve this target market.
