System implementation
Employee training is an essential aspect in system implementation. Whether you chose to hire new employees or to retrain the old ones, having properly trained employees will promote greater success of the new implementation. We cannot assume that employees will just figure it out. The success of the project is dependent upon how well the employees handle the new system. Many companies chose to retrain the old employees because they are already familiar with the company's philosophy. Occasionally, the implementation will create a new position or promotion which is good for employee morale. Recruiting new employees is costly.
The task of installing a new computer system is another important aspect of system implementation. It is imperative to have adequate facilities that include properly tempered room that manage variances of temperature and humidity. The installation takes into consideration security measures, door locks, video monitoring systems and fire extinguishers. The overall set up is quite complicated and may require assistance from engineers.
Both cost effectiveness and feasibility are important consideration in system development. If a company has decided to install a new computer system, they must have the capability of handling that new system. They must take into consideration what kinds of upgrades to the current system will be needed, who will take responsibility for those upgrades and any other administrative issues that arise. In some situations, the design of a new system may not be cost effective. The objective is to maximize benefits over cost. If the cost of the system outweigh the benefits, it probably is not the best system to chose.
