Internet is a wonderful medium for that is so convenient for creativity. The Internet has provided millions of jobs all around the world. It has developed world's economy greatly. It has changed our lifestyle. It has made us closer to one another more ever. It has exposed us to a broader world. It has made out world more effective,
The Internet has a lot of benefits. Most people, at least in the developed countries, access Internet on a daily basis. Now people e-mail each other, instead of sending a post. People watch movies and listen to music, instead of going the local entertainment store. For advertisers, the Internet is an amazing tool too. Advertising companies can target ads on people's interests, which makes the whole process more effective. People can now communicate with each other all around the world, in most cases with no cost. It has given us different tools to make our jobs more effective. For instance, I found Graceland on the Internet. Had it not been for the Internet, I wouldn't even be writing this essay. Now, with the Internet, you can search just about anything, and get information. In this day and age, we take a lot of things for granted. For me, Internet is becoming a necessity of life.
The Internet has also created a great deal of jobs. There are more than 346 million websites on the Internet. These websites create millions and millions of jobs. The Internet also helps the world economy. The Internet serves as a medium for innovative people. People like Mark Zuckerberg and Larry Page wouldn't have been able to show their creativity, if it wasn't for the Internet,
The Internet also has disadvantages just like any other thing. It has opened a wide gate on piracy activities. There are now countless websites that people can go watch or stream copyrighted movies and music. It has allowed young children to access explicit material very easily. It has introduced us to cyber bullying, where people tease other individual with anonymous names. Even in social life, it has caused a lot people to avoid human contact. It has caused people to be lazy and extremely dependent. Having said that, Internet has more benefits than disadvantages.
While the Internet continues to remain to be a liberated environment, there are many people, who are trying to limit people's freedom with senseless regulations. It utterly disagrees with the SOPA legislation. The problem is these legislators have a narrow view of the world. I want to, firstly, say that I totally despise the piracy activities; however these things are unavoidable. These people have to realize that the piracy website owner are every intelligent. It is going to take a lot of resources to enforce this legislation. Considering the current state our economy, this kind of spending is just absurd. I propose that these people should come up with smarter laws instead
