Introduction
In today world, technology had grown significantly and had opened opportunity to human being to explore unlimitedly to extreme that it has break the rule of 'Sky is the limit' which is there's nothing possible in this era. One of the vastest spreading inventions that technology had invented is the mobile phone. Nowadays, even a child at the age 7 years old capable of owning a mobile phone and knows most of the feature of the device. The most common or must have feature is Short Message Service (SMS). Well, that's what will be the main purpose of this paper to oversee the impact of SMS in Malaysia especially to our language. The aim of this article is to see how far we as a Malaysian still holding to the slogan' Bahasa Jiwa Bangsa' which simply means that language is a reflection of the state and soul of a nation.
The SMS language in currently building its own identity and achieving new colours in the world we are living today. Recently, there are many research been carried out to discuss about the impact of SMS to our languages. The research not only carried out to look into the negative part but also the positive part of SMS language.
The main objective of this paper is to show how SMS had impacted our language and foreign language. This paper will consist of the reviews taken from past and current researchers in identifying whether SMS really had affected our language today. The finding of reports from a study in which a total of 17 individual's from different races, age and background were interviewed to analyse the overall impact of the usage of SMS in their lives. Structured interview questionnaire were used to collect the data.

As the author quoted, it's important to understand and justified before we come to any conclusion and these paper basically will be covering the below questions that are lingering in some of our head such as:
* Does SMS is the main reason abbreviation been used extensively?
* Is our language proficiency in education system affected with the usage of SMS?
* To which extend has SMS made its contribution in bilingualism or manglish language?
* Does our spoken language becoming less popular because of the SMS existence?
