My book is called Skeleton Creek: The Crossbones. The Author is Patrick Carman. The main characters in the story are basically Ryan and Sarah. Ryan and Sarah are best friends and they do everything together. The hang out, talk, do all the normal stuff people would do. But one thing that is weird is they solve mysteries. Like in the book it said they saved the town and won four million dollars. Now that's not what some kids do in a daily bases. Sarah is more of a adventures person. She doesn't like to be bored and she never plays by the rules. Ryan on the other hand is scared to not go by the rules, yea he found four million dollars but he needs to do more than that. When Sarah left Skeleton Creek to move with her mom and dad all Ryan did was sit around it his father's fishing shop ( were he worked at) and did nothing. Some of the other characters like her mom, dad, and Fitz ( a worker at the fishing shop) were just none other normal people.

The main setting took place in Skeleton Creek. A small town were Ryan and Sarah lived. Some other small settings were in his father's fishing store. Then Sarah took a road trip around the US to Boston, Chicago, St. Louis, Memphis, Austin, Little Rock, Springfield, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Jose, and Los Angeles. I know all of this because the author actually said it in the story if you read it. That's the settings in the story.

The conflict in the story is in the other Skeleton Creek book Sarah and Ryan found four million dollars because of this weird mystery. Now they found out another mystery wasn't solved so of course they would want to solve it. Also this guy named The Raven was very mad at them and he wanted to come after them.

The 10 major events in the story are

Sarah was leaving Ryan because she had to move away from Ryan. The good thing was Ryan had a cellphone and a computer so they could stay connected with each other.

1. The ghost of Old Joe Bush is still alive and everybody thinks he is not but Ryan and Sarah.

2. Ryan found a message. It had to cards in the message. One side was a skull and the other side had a gun, tombstone, and a house.

3. Fitz was the new worker at his Dad's Fishing Shop. He was weird but Ryan was jealous of him for some reason.

4. Sarah and Ryan finally figure out what the Skull puzzle means.

5. Sarah is going to film camp to California and she has to go to Boston, Chicago, St. Louis, Memphis, Austin, Little Rock, Springfield, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Jose, and Los Angeles because they had to go to this tombstone, this haunted house, a haunted hotel, and all this other stuff just to find all the pieces to this Skull puzzle.

6. Sarah found all the puzzle pieces and put them all together. But there was one place left to go.
