Many people with siblings have to share rooms all their lives. This means that they do not have their own space. In my situation, I was lucky enough to have a sister move out of the house. Because of this, I could make my room how every I wanted it. This experience was awesome for me because I had my own room to hand out with friends. I think it was better to have my own room and to have my own space that I could call mine in the house.

When it was time for my sister to move out, she had to clean all of her stuff out of her room. Of course, I had to help clean everything out because it was going to be my room next. She had so much stuff in her room, I do not see how she could fit all her stuff in there. It looked like it was just sitting in there for a million years.

After I got all her stuff together it was time to get all my stuff together to move it up to the attic. My friend Chase and his girlfriend came over to help me move all my stuff up there. When going through all my stuff, I had to get rid of a lot of stuff because I had clothes and stuff from when I was little. It brought back a lot of memories looking through all my stuff from when I was little.

After all my sister's stuff was moved, I went up there to see how it looked, it was really nasty looking. When I went up there, I felt like I had to sneeze because all of the dust that was floating in the air, I went down stairs to get the vacuum, so I could vacuum the carpet. After I did that, it was a lot better then what it was like. It looked like a new room after it; it was all clean and smelled good.

After the room was all clean, it was time to move all my stuff up there. Chase and I had to figure out how to move my big entertainment center up the stairs. It was really hard because the stairs go up then I had to take a sharp turn and go back up. Moving that up there was not too bad. The hardest thing to move up there was my bed because it is so big. Chase and I had to push and pull to get it up there.

Once everything was up there, I had to figure out where I wanted to put everything. I was debating on what corner to put my entertainment center. I decided where I wanted to put it. I could put my bed facing the TV so I could see it when I was lying down. Now I had to put all my clothes away and fold everything which takes forever because I know how to fold right so it looks good.

This experience of me getting to have a nice room that I could call mine was awesome. I was so lucky that I did not have to share with another sibling. I was also lucky to have my friends come over and help me move my stuff out of my old room that we had so many memories in. Having my own room is a blessing because I can do what I want in there. I had my own place in the house that I could be myself up there.

When growing up in that house, I always had my own room but it was small and nothing special,
