Shopping Made Easy
In today's society there are many more women working, who have careers, and there are less and less stay at home mothers. Between their careers, children, soccer practice, cleaning and cooking there is not very much time left for them or clothing shopping. This is why Shopping Made Easy is why working woman and mother's need to use. This will allow them to spend more time on their career, family, etc. and allow someone else to do the shopping for them.
"It may sound complex, but strategic management simply means planning an overall strategy for your small business that will help achieve your business goals. As your company's owners, strategic management is your responsibility. To get started, you must answer three key questions. What are my business's goals? What are the best ways to achieve those goals? What steps must I take to make them happen?" (allBusiness, 7/27) By using strategic management will allow Shopping Made Easy to determine its mission and vision for the company.
"Strategic planning is a step by step process with definite objectives and end products that can be implemented and evaluated. Very simply, it is a process by which we look into the future, paint a picture of that future based on current trends, and influence the forces that will affect us" (FP&M World Class Journey, 9/19.) Planning will allow Shopping Made Easy to have a clear goal and direction into the future and have staffing and leadership effectively striving for the same common goal. In the end this will allow Shopping Made Easy to gain control of the future and the destiny of their company.
The four functions of management are planning, organizing, directing, and controlling (Associated Content, 9/12.) These four functions are relative to creating and implementing a strategic plan. The foundation is started with the planning piece; this allows Shopping Made Easy to look at where they are currently and where they want to be in the future. This will allow them to determine goals and objectives. Next would be organization and if Shopping Made Easy, didn't have certain people assigned to certain tasks and customer's, it could become a disaster because customer's want to feel comfortable to work with a company that has everything together, organized and aren't sending you in 10 different directions. Directing is the third function of management this takes overseeing and influencing the staff in achieving the Shopping Made Easy's goals. Influencing their employees starts from the top, by having managers whom are positive, communicate, leaders and motivators to assist their employees in reaching their personal and career goals. The fourth and last function is controlling. This involves creating and establishing performance standards that apply to the company's expectations, and evaluating the actual job
