There are many differences through out High School and Middle School that make each in it's own essential to a students growth. These differences are associated with the academics, students, and emotions that are left during high school and middle school years.
High school is a very different place than middle school. To make an appearance in high school from middle school, I have had to make many of changes. Some things that are different between middle school and high school are the work received, the environment, the schedule, and the teachers.
First off the type of work received in High school is very different that the work I had revived in middle school. Much of the work is more difficult and there is more of it to do. Work is also expected to be handed in time; if the person doesn't hand in their homework the teachers don't come looking for you to ask if they have it.
The second thing that is different between middle school and high school is the schedule. The schedule this is very different than the schedule I'm used to last year. Last year I had seven classes, I also only had special classes, like leadership and music, everyday which I loved. This year I only have five classes a day, there is also block scheduling so I have more time to complete my work for my classes which is fare. The classes like electives are most after school activities in high school than actual classes.
Another difference is that the environment is different. The middle school that I went to is very different than high school. When I went to middle school I was looking to go to school to see my friends. This year with high school I don't want to go to school because of the "get work done" environment . High school also seems more serious because it is so important because in order to pass, graduate, and get a diploma you can go to college and to a four year university. after high school most of the students are going to college.
Making the move from middle school and high school may seem very scary because their might new people, but knowing what expect can really help. Middle school provides kids with the experience they need to be ready for high school. Even though moving on means adjusting to a new enjoinment, some things, including many of classmates who accompany you, will remain the same unless something wrong happens.
