* Create a more fluid internal communication process through social media In three key areas of: Knowledge management and Work management.

Sage should strengthen its internal social media communication to help facilitate a more congruent and flexible information sharing environment for its employees and management. This can be done by continuing to focus on two key areas.

I. Knowledge management: In this area Sage should strive to structure its knowledge bases to enable a communication process that allows for real time sharing and access on internal company information that is most important for an effective and efficiently run organization. Their traditional approach of internal company communication should be progressively changed to integrate a more flexible communication process that utilizes: electronic discussion forums that allows for internal and externally generated content to be extracted and driven to the Sage employee. Overall Sage should create its own internal electronic community where it can share fluidly and exchange information in real time to all necessary individuals. This can also be done by utilizing an internal company twitter or blog to help facilitate information sharing; as with any sharing of information the security of the information being shared should be applicable to the avenue it is shared through. Lastly, Sage main focus for social media and knowledge management is to allow for less bottle necks in the internal information sharing process.

II. Work Management: Work management within companies has developed faster than knowledge management has within the context of the modern day company. Sage should strive to continue to build on its existing work management solutions. Two key areas of focus should be

 Improved communication

 Heighten responsibility of teams and individuals

This can be done by making employees integrate into internal Share Point areas or other virtual team forums which allows access from management to have contact in projects by non invasive means and also allow for locally removed team members to be more involved.
