Introduction
Over the last few years, government services in the UAE has improved to be documented like the industrial procedures to be monitored, controlled, measured and enhanced. Customers also knew their rights and the differences between the procedures in different places and they effect on the decision making in enhancing not only the services in companies, but in the governmental sector too.
In then governmental sector In Abu Dhabi Emirate, they used to use flow charts diagrams, written procedures that are monitored by the auditors and there is at least one annual check for the processes to make sure that the entity has document for every process and the employees are implementing what is documented. Also they usually check if there is a way of enhancement to make the process better and more effective and efficient, by suggestions from the auditors to make the processes shorter or easier to customers especially the bottleneck which is the steps that take more time which delay the whole service. They usually use surveys to know about customer feedback in government sector and there is a free line to call and give feedback also on 800555 which is Abu Dhabi Government Contact Center.
One very important step from the companies of government entities is that they have to make a very good awareness programs and trainings to their staff to know how important the documenting is and following the written procedure. Then they will understand what will be the outcome of having the same service from different employee. Unfortunately, till now you can notice that two employees in same counter working together and every one of them have different understanding of the requirements. Then the customer is the big looser!
In the coming papers we will focus on Abu Dhabi Quality & Conformity Council , ……………….. . . ………………. and ……………….flow charts in different departments and some analysis to reallocate them.
