Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

In order to make the most delicious cookies, you must gather eleven simple ingredients:

* Sugar * Brown Sugar

* Butter * Peanut Butter

* Vanilla * 1 egg

* Flour * Regular Oats

* Baking Soda * Salt

* Semisweet Chocolate Chips

Caution: Keep children away from ovens or make sure an adult is present at all times; use caution when working with hot appliances.

Step 1

Place ½ cup of granulated sugar, 1/3 cup of packed brown sugar, ½ cup or 1 stick of butter (softened), ½ cup of peanut butter, ½ teaspoon of vanilla, and 1 egg into a medium sized bowl.

Step 2

Stir these ingredients with a wooden spoon or a beater until all ingredients are blended well together and have a creamy consistency.

Step 3

Put 1 cup of all-purpose flour, ½ cup of regular oats, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and ¼ teaspoon of salt into a separate bowl.

Step 4

Once these four ingredients are combined, mix them into the medium bowl that contains the other ingredients.

Tip: In order to make the ingredients easier to stir, pour in a little at a time and stir together until all ingredients have been emptied into the bowl.

Step 5

Stir in 1 package (6 ounces) of semisweet chocolate chips. After the mixture is stirred with the chocolate chips added, begin forming the dough.

Step 6

Drop dough into rounded balls that are about a tablespoonful. After the dough is formed, place them on an ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Once the cookie sheet is filled, put it in the oven at 350º and bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the cookies are a light golden brown.

Step 7

Once the cookies have baked, remove from the oven for about 4-6 minutes. Place on cookie racks to cool. Once cookies have cooled, they are ready to eat!

This recipe makes about 2 dozen cookies.
