Quito - Capital of Ecuador

Quito, a historic and beautiful, which is the capital of Ecuador and currently among the top destinations, according to National Geographic. Many have heard of the equator, but they don’t know that Quito is the city crossed by this renowned line. If you want to visit Quito, you should go for at least a week, but if not, I will tell how to do it in one day. There are many activities and places to visit in Quito, but to do this in one day you should divide your day. Starting at the early morning you should visit the south of Quito, when you reach the time for lunch go to the north of Quito and last, but least you should go at night to the center of Quito. The only way to visit the entire city is to follow my guide verbatim.
Starting the day at 8am, go to the south of Quito. This is one of the most dangerous parts in the city, but it is also where the majority of the people live and where all the working class lives. First, there are several neighborhoods in the south that are famous because of maybe appearance or history. The Lucha de los Pobres neighborhood, is not nearly the nicest part, but you should go visit this to witnesses the extreme poverty that there is in Ecuador and to think about how do this people make a living. After this, go to the neighborhood of Solanda, this part of the city is known for its history, for it is where the Marquis de Solanda lived and had all its riches. By the way, the Marquis de Solanda, was a direct descendent from Francisco de Orellana, the one that discovered the road through land to the pacific ocean. Second, there are some buildings and parks that you should want to visit. Currently, in Quito the new metro is being constructed, which for Quiteños is the gateway for the future. After visiting the metro, you should go to the Chillogallo Cemetery. This cemetery is well known in Quito because of its history and the people that are buried there. When you have finished visiting the cemetery it should be almost mid-day, you should now go to the north part of Quito.
When the for lunch arrives, you should go to your second grand stop in the day, the northern part Quito, this part is the opposite of the south, given the people that live there and the attractions. In the first place, you should start by visiting the stylish buildings around this part. The Circasiana Palace is one of the most emblematic sites in Quito because of its intriguing history focusing on stolen nobility and forced marriages. After this palace, there is the Chapel of Man, the work of the famous Ecuadorian painter Oswaldo Guayasamin, this place is considered a place for sanctuary and thought. In the second place, there are a lot of parks and attractions that you can go to, after visiting the constructions. The first place you should go visit the Mitad del Mundo, better if you g at around 12pm, this stop is extremely important given that is the division of the southern and northern hemisphere.
