Promotion is one of the 'Four P's' in the marketing mix. Promotion is the second framework that marketers need to consider which will be discussed as the second question in this report. Promotion describes the marketing activities that make potential customers and society aware of and attracted to the business offering. There are four categories that fall under the promotional aspect of the marketing mix. The first is whether the product may be already established. This means that the product can be used for other uses in its current form. Therefore, businesses have to remind customers that they can do so through ad campaigns or any form of media advertising or even having the picture of different uses on the package itself. The 2nd promotional aspect is when the product is modified and that there is an improvement of the product to keep loyal customers and to attract future ones. The third is when there is a new release of a new product in the business and to spread awareness about it. The final topic is spreading information about a certain topic using the name of the business to show a positive theme or image. Basically anything that can allow customers to be attracted to the firm concerning the product improvement or an advertisement to spread a certain idea related to the firm. In relation to the case study, it will be clarified more according to Elg & Robinson butcher store. Everything that they have used to keep their reputation of a trustworthy and customer friendly firm is part of the promotional aspect of the marketing mix.
