Project Proposal

Good Evening Mr. Mathis,

Today I am proposing a project on a charity basketball game for the youth, to help raise money and awareness on the effect of bullying in schools and help to stop it. I propose that we either have the event at a local YMCA, see if they can help sponsor it, which will in turn have many more people wanting to be members of the Y which will be a huge publicity for them, or we could do it at a local college or high school gymnasium. Leadership is key in the project with that if one does not be a leader and if one thing go wrong with the responsibilities of each team member with planning, marketing, advertising, and all other aspects within implementing the project, the whole thing could go wrong. From the organizational dynamics, with the project being not so large, one of a matrix structure would work well with this. Having a diagram with each task and each member knowing what they are responsible for and who will be assisting them, it would help more and be easier to delegate tasks. With a team working to deliver their responsibilities on time and n good quality the customers would have much enjoyment and want more involvement in the school systems as well as helping their children to be more active in sports.

I hope you see how great this project could affect the community and be a huge help with the children in each school level from elementary to high school students and hopefully we can get together to implement this project. I look forward to hearing your response.
