Abstract
In this paper the definition of Hate Crime will be defined and discussed. Thereafter, a profile of a individual who" might" be subject to commit a hate crime. There will also be mention of who hate crime targets and who some of the victims maybe of this hancy act. Furthermore, they will be discussion of the cause and effects that these crimes carry and what actions can be taken to minimize or prevent hate crimes in the United States and all other Countries.

Throughout the United States, there are many cities that are subject to hate crime.
Definition of Hate Crime:
Hate crimes are defined as being bias driven crimes. In other words, it's a criminal offense committed against a person, property, or society that is motivated, in whole or in part. The crimes are bias against religion, race, gender, nationality, sexual orientation and disability (National Institution of Justice, 2010). Some groups that committed such bias crimes are the "Ku Klux Klan's" and the "Skinheads". Many states and large cities have developed hate crime task forces joined through several levels of government and working with organizations in the communities.
Reports received by the (FBI) in 1996, showed that 10,706 hate crimes from state and local law enforcement agencies. The number count involving victims was 11,039 and 10,021 where of known perpetrators. The crimes preceded with twelve (12) murders, ten (10) forcible rapes, one thousands four hundred forty four (1,444) aggravated assaults, (1,762) simple assaults and (4,130) acts of intimidation (The Violence of Intolerance, n.d.).
Who Commits Hate Crimes?
As though it may seem that hate crimes are increasing in the United States, we can become settled with these unmitigated, cruel, and ruthless terrible crimes. Some typical individuals that commit hate crimes are gangs i.e.., Latino gangs vs. Asians gangs vs. Irish gangs vs. Black gangs. This is because their primal emotions are aroused by love of one's own group in

which he or she belongs. But because of the thoughtless nature of hate crime, hate crime legislation has little, if any at all, general deterrent value.
