I am a Chinese students and this year is my first year in Canada, i really don't know if white people have privileges in their workplace and in the school. Before i came to Canada, i was taught that Canada is one of the most peaceful countries in the world and every different race of people can live safely and comfortably in this country. But i believe that white privilege must exist in somewhere and i just need to stay longer time to discover it. In china, although two thirds of the citizens are yellow, there still have many white people live in my country, especially in shanghai and i can easily see or find out that white people have invisible advantages during their life. Like because we know that she is a white people, we will become more polite when communicating with her. In the workplace, some leader will subconsciously give white people more chance to show their abilities and they can easily forgive white people's fault with no reason. So although white people are the immigrants in china, they still can enjoy their specific privileges there. I think that's because some white people's countries are really strong or was the strongest country in the world, like America, British and France. Many people always subconsciously think that they are more cleaver or can learn more things than us. I think this kind of thinking is normal because most people never treasure the things they have already had and always think the things which they can not process are the best. Human are always can not satisfied with their status quo and can not stop seeking more things to content themselves and sometimes the thing they are seeking is maybe the thing they can never get forever. Just like we can never change our skin color into white during our whole life. So in china, we all treat white people in a hot way and even some people think they are better than our Chinese people. And those are all white people's privilege in china.

One of my cousin have lived in America for a long time, he told me in American high school and university, the racism is really serious. Most of white students don't like other students who have different skin color. They always thought they are in a advantageous position in the school so they never or rarely like to talk with other races of students. But when they grow up and experience more things in their workplace, they may slowly change their attitude to other colors' people, be more polite and most of times, they choose to ignore those people's existence, although they still think white people are the strongest race in the world.

The Elizabeth Minnich's opinion makes me think a lot. She said: " Whites are taught to think of their lives as morally neutral, normative, and average, and also ideal, so that when we work to benefit others, this is seen as work which will allow 'them' to be more like 'us'". People will always subconsciously
