Feeling myself being taken out of her pencil case excited me. Just after two minutes she had received the test, I saw the look on her face. This look wasn't the most pleasing. She looked really confused and blanked out. Oh boy! This is going be hard. As time was ticking she was still on number 37. Come on Ramsha we could do this, 13 more to go. I love math. What's wrong with her? I don't know why she doesn't study for her math tests. This is stressing me. Stop using my head to fix your mistakes. Instead of wasting my lead doodling yesterday; she could have actually paid attention during the review session. These problems are so easy even a wooden pencil could figure this stuff out. Loosen your grip. Stop pushing so hard that's my face. You don't even realize it. I have feelings too. Please also wipe off your hands on something. Your sweaty hands are all over my gray grip. It's gross! Soon within minutes I felt my grip being loosened and I was placed on the cold hard desk. I guess shes done, I tried to bear with her as much as I can just like all the other times.

I always try making friends with other pencils, but then she keeps losing all of them. One day she gets a new pencil and I make friends with him, and the next day he is gone. It's just rough I tell you. Even though I might not be happy with my living conditions, I am happy that Ramsha considers me her favorite pencil in the end.
This all began when she bought me 3 years ago from Office Max. Walking to up the stationary section, she stood staring into to space not being able to decide which pencil to pick out of the hundreds she had in front of her. She needed a pencil, so later on she could use it to take her Lincoln Hall entrance exam. The moment when she came and picked me, boy, I tell you I was so ecstatic. Even though she saw me as one of the other pencils she bought, nothing special. I was sure to change that and I'm glad that I did. After she did so well on her exam and surprised everyone by getting into 8th grade even after being away from education for more than 4 months.
Through the journey of these 3 years with me, she has written multiple essays and taken many tests. Some were easy for her and some were hard, but I always tried my to be at my best for her. She has practiced spelling and learning grammar. She has written love and hate of her
