The BCS is a terrible system. This is not how a champion should be decided. A playoff needs to be created. If there was a playoff then a champion could truly be crowned. With the system that is in place now, a teams record is what decides who the National Champion is, a team should have to compete against other top teams in order to see who the best team really is. Just because a team loses a couple games they should not lose a chance to play for a title. The BCS is an unfair system which favors teams with easy schedules and the team that wins the national championship is not even always the team that is best in the nation because there is no proof. For a team to truly be considered a champion, they need to face the other teams that are considered the best teams and beat them in head to head matchups regardless of who's record is better to see who really is the better team. A team could have like 4 losses but that could still be a very good team tha tjus tplayed a tough schedule, and if a playoff was in place they could prove it. Jsut like in college basketball, sometimes a team that does nto have a very good record makes a run in the ncaa tournatent because they are actually a good team. Teams have to be matched up agaisnt one anotgher to determine which one is the best team, a systems, such as the BCS, cannot determine who the best team is by using computers which is what it tries to do now.
