Planet Starbucks: Caffeinating the World Case Analysis
Starbucks started in Seattle in 1971 by three entrepreneurs who sold whole-bean coffee. Starbucks had increased rapidly in several regions of the world. With the majority of people coming to Starbucks a dozen times a month. The company looked to move into more of the emerging world. The strategic issue is that whether Starbucks in the future should perform in the global arena and whether it should create a new uniform pricing policy in emerging markets where affordability was the most important in existing markets.
SWOT analysis has been conducted to further analyze this issue.
* Strenghts: Starbucks serves up strong drinks and remains strong as being the leader in the coffee industry market through product diversification, customer loyalty, and high visibility.

More than 700,000 individual acts added up to significant impact in more than 34 countries around the world
More than 2,100 community service projects completed
More than 230,000 hours of service contributed in just 30 days
The results from this year's month of service surpassed last year's participation with 50 percent more projects around the globe.
