PARTS OF PHOTOSHOP CS4 WINDOW
The Essentials workspace is the default workspace of Photoshop CS4 when you first opened it. You can change and save the workspace whatever you like but before you create your own project, it would be very helpful to familiarize first the basic user interface of Photoshop. In the next pages, we will show you how to create and navigate on your workspace.

Menu Bar - contains menus for performing tasks.
Application bar-commonly used and new featured tools are placed in this bar such as the rotate view tool. Arrange document views, and the screen mode.
The arrange document views helps you arrange all your opened images in you preferred view.
The screen view helps you change your screen to full screen mode. Select first the document you want to change view then choose a screen mode you want to apply.
You can also toggle the
Different screen views
Quickly by pressing the
Shortcut key 'F'.
Status bar - displays information
such as the current magnification
and file size of the active image.
There are also additional properties
you can access to view on the
status bar by clicking the arrow icon,
point to show and then choose the
information you want to see.
Tool bar - holds tools for creating,
Editing, and viewing images.
