Pet Euthanasia

Do people acknowledge the central role of the affirmation and fulfillment of life? Most people respect all the life in this world. In the modern world, there are more and more animals put to sleep. Pet euthanasia could be approved according to each circumstance, but it does not mean pet euthanasia could be used anywhere. There are so many reasons why people choose pet euthanasia, and the most important reason is it could save money. In the article "Rate of Euthanasia and Adoption for Dogs and Cars in Michigan" the writer Bartlett mentions "there are 1,760,000 dogs and 1,625,000 cats were put to sleep in 2006." The number is huge. How could we reduce the number to help those innocent animals?

Euthanasia is the act of a physician or other third part ending a patient's life in response to severe pain and suffering. There are two kind of euthanasia: Voluntary euthanasia and involuntary euthanasia. Voluntary euthanasia refers to the action taken by the physician and the patient, who both agree to end the patient's life. Involuntary euthanasia is the commonly practiced in veterinary medicine when animals are "put down" or "put to sleep". According the Oxford English Dictionary it says, "Involuntary euthanasia refers to a third taking a patient's life without the informed consent of the patient." Why do people put the animals to sleep? There are two main reasons. First reason of people put the animals to sleep is pets got a disease what could not be cured, so the masters of pet would choose euthanasia. The masters of pet choose the easy way to let their pet leave disease and payless. Another reason why people put the animals down is there are too many strays dogs and cats, and the government does not have enough money and workers to take care of them. The result is most of animals got euthanasia.

Nancy Kerns in " Volunteer : it might seem scary, but it's so worth it" points out that she has never seen how the vet to end the life of animals that live in shelter, but she saw lots of stray dogs and cats struggle for living before they enter the mercy killing room. If animals know how to cry, she believes that they were crying before enter the room. The definition of pet euthanasia is the practice of killing without pain. It sounds humane, but not for animals. For animals, they know what will happen after they enter mercy killing room because their friends who lived with them walked into mercy killing room and been carried out feet first. Those stray dogs and cats are innocent, but they only could stay with fear until the end of their life that day. In this modern world, there are news technics and new ways to put animals down with low fee and easy way. In dog tidal wave, there are some sellers only care about money did not care their healthy, so there are some dogs and cats easily get healthy problems. Some people bought pets for fun when their pet got serious health problem, those people will choose to put their pets down. As time goes by, people take a life too easily. The sellers of pet breed more and more animals because there are more and more people buy a pet for fun. The result is there are more and more stray animals. In recent years, due to the number of stray dogs increased, so stray dogs to investigate the cause of social problems. Another problem is people take life too light, so more and more people subject animals to abuse. It will affect society, people's moral degradation.

There are three way solutions to pet euthanasia: Help animal's shelters, carry out the policy of ligation and anti- police of pet euthanasia. How do people to help animal shelters? There are so many way could help animal shelters.
