Over the past week, I have recorded my dreams and made notes about it. After recording them, I’ve noticed that my dreams were usually about something I experienced the day before. Whether it was about a conversation I had, a movie I watched, or an event I went to.

To begin, after recording my dreams for a week, I wanted to share my 3 favorite dreams that I had. On the first night that I started recording, I had a dream about a vacation that I’ve always wanted to go on. That day, my family and I were discussing and planning on where we should go on vacation this summer. I suggested Bora Bora, which is where I have always wanted to go. Then my dream was about me with my family and friends at Bora Bora, staying in the Bungalows on top of the water. I could even visualize the sunset and standing over top of the water, it was breathtaking.

Another dream that I recorded was a much worse dream then the first one. I had a dream that my volleyball team made it to states and I broke my arm the day before the game. I was so upset about not being able to play in the game. The influence of this dream was because my friend and I were talking about when our team got 2nd place in District 10, and we were looking at our medals.

My last dream was about me winning 12 day tickets to the Ellen show. It was amazing. I remember in my dream Ellen, herself, announced my name on her show to have me at 12 days. This dream was influenced because I am a huge Ellen fan in the first place. But I also entered a contest from my local news to be at the Ellen show, and I was number one on the list, but unfortunately didn’t win. So I believe this is what caused my dream that night.

In conclusion, after recording my dreams for a week, I realized that most of my dreams are influenced by something that happened that day. I also noticed that when recording my dreams, it’s a lot easier to remember the dream, the mood in the dream, and people that appeared in it. It’s fun to remember your dreams because it’s like a little fun memory you get to keep, even though it didn’t happen.
