PARTS DEPARTMENT

PROPOSAL

IMMEDIATE

To be accomplished within 30 days

1. Arrange hours to be 6:30am to 3:00pm

This will allow peak hours of 11am to 2pm to be covered

2. Encourage and increase teamwork among the members of the parts department.

Goal is to increase efficiency and productivity among members

Provide lunch on quarterly basis to promote team environment

3. Improve communication among parts department employees and other departments within company.

Need to make sure all parties that need information are notified

Provide complete, important information to those individuals handling situation

Do not assume that all information has been passed on

If in doubt, ask questions, do not assume you know all the facts

4. Carry portable phone and answer if rings three times

5. Inform all employees of expectations of warehouse duties to be performed daily, weekly, and monthly

6. All employees in parts department will complete RED DOT training

Will allow employees to increase their skill sets

Will allow all employees to assist our customers in this line of our business

7. All employees in parts department will complete WEBASTO training

Will increase knowledge base of all employees

Allows all employees to assist our customers with this line of our business

PROPOSALS TO BE COMPLETED IN THREE MONTHS

1. Parts Supervisor to take over all parts ordering

Allow for increased oversight of inventory

2. Orient Branch Manager to daily processes of Parts Department

Will provide more insight regarding daily frustrations/road blocks that the

parts department employees deal with

3. Training on core and warranty return
