Any business operations won't be success without a right marketing strategy. Marketing is the channel between producers and consumers. Therefore, in order to sell products or provide services, the company needs marketing.
Business operations are carried out to increase the profit and secure the value of that business. Marketing is of the strongest tool to accomplish that goal. Marketing are the activities that involves creating, distributing, pricing, and promoting goods, services and ideas. Through marketing, producers are being able to find out what consumers needs and want. Thus, they can satisfy consumers. However, a company needs to have a strong and correct marketing strategy to get to consumers. They have to understand consumer's behavior. Moreover, operations and marketing need to work together. Operations must support marketing and marketing should understand the needs of that operations. Operation is supply and marketing is demand. Once they are in conflict, there is no way a business is going to success. They must be in synch.
In conclusion, Business is about supply and demand. For that reason, operations and marketing must work together. Producers need to understand what consumers need to satisfy them. On the other hand, marketing must know the operations goal in order to bring the business to its full potential and reach its max profits.
