Cree Inc is a market-leading innovator of lighting-class LEDs, LED Lighting, and semiconductor solutions for wireless and power applications. We do vertical integration from basic materials (i.e. the Sic) to LED chips, LED components to LED Lighting Products. Cree solutions engaged to lead the LED Lighting Revolution and obsolete energy-inefficient light bulbs with five core performance objectives as following, namely Quality, Speed, Dependability, Flexibility and Cost:

Quality is the totality of features and characteristics of the LEDs that can provide lighting-class performance and high efficiency with 100 Lumens per Watt (LPW) to satisfy the implied need of lighting markets. Realizing good reliability can always reduce the potential risks from the errors and reduce the cost, especially the rework and scrap cost, Cree does focus on R&D Investment.

Cost is the most critical to be competitive in the LED industry. Cree reduces its economic cost below those of competitors by investing a huge capital investment into build a new factory in China on 9 Nov, 2009. In order to improve the yields, Cree also shift to a larger diameter wafer from 6 inch to 12 inch.

Flexibility means the Application Optimization with the form factor, color quality & consistency and lumen density for the specify customers' need. Therefore, we release a wide range of LEDs Products with different size, lumens and efficiency to the market periodically.

Dependability is the commitment for Cree to be LED Lighting Leadership with the great technology. It emphasizes the long life time of 50,000 hrs so that maintain avoidance can be achieved by LED Products. Besides, customers can strongly rely on our service, product and partnership due to the healthy balance sheet of Cree Inc.

Speed means the fast fully field application service support to customers. Cree realize the importance of improving customer technical service on pre & post-sales needs. We setup the applications lab, technical Center and Field Application Support to develop solutions centered on Cree LED Leadership to set the system specifications
