Naomi & Ed Scene - Movie Review

An overview from the first scene is the situation in the meeting room where Naomi having a meeting with her colleagues discussing about the price of the share. The conflict start when Naomi talked suddenly Ed interrupts and questions her about the price of the share. However, Erin tries to help to reduce the conflict occur by providing solution to them. Furthermore, in other scene, when Naomi having conversation with her boss and asking is the guy that pass just now is her new boss. Naomi shows discontent towards her boss because she really wants to become a Head Global and she shouted to her boss using bad words. The last scene is during a meeting, Erin give suggestion to solve the problem. Everyone in the meeting room give concentration to her while she gives suggestion. This show how they respect minorities group.
Based on the first scene, it happened during a meeting when Ed said ‘’I like you’’ to Erin with a naughty face and Ed interrupt while Naomi is talking. Ed reveals very poor wok ethics and unprofessional behaviour at the workplace. When having a meeting, we should act professionally and respect others feeling. Supposedly, Ed should thank Erin because she provides solution to solve the problem that he faced with Naomi. Ed also should learn how to use polite way to interrupt when people are talking for example like excuse me. Because of Ed act like unprofessional, people surrounding him shows negative perception towards him.
Based on the second scene is when Naomi having a conversation with her boss. Naomi asked her boss, is the guy that pass just now is her new Global Head. The boss admit it and Naomi start shouted to her boss using bad words like fuck you. Naomi shows disrespect manner towards her boss. She should asked her boss nicely and no need to shout because she is only a worker.
Based on the third scene, the interaction happened between male and female. This shows that there is no discrimination occurs because everyone is allowed to point out their view. For an instance, when Erin gives suggestion to solve the problem, everyone listen and nodded like they agree with what Erin suggests. This is a good practice that should be followed by other people at the workplace. We cannot simply discriminate group of minorities because they also have their own opinion to point out and share with others.
As a conclusion, workplace interaction should be seen as an important thing because without effective interaction, all information could not be sent correctly. Effective communication can be achieve by provide them training communication. By doing this training, the way the workers communicate can be improve and there is no issue of poor work ethics and unprofessional behaviour at the workplace. From this critical incident above, I have learnt how to respect people when they talked. We can interrupt but using appropriate way. It is more polite because the way we talked will reflect to ourselves.
