My Poem

There once was a dog,

the dog was tall, as far as dogs go.

This dog loved life,

and living was the biggest joy of all.

It was never taken from him,

and that is why I wonder,

why we live life like this.

Always happy, never facing an ordeal,

that could make us question who we are,

what we do,

or what our opinions are.

What are our opinions?

We are not an opinionated generation.

That dog is me, you, your mom, your dad,

your grandma, your grandpa,

your great grandma, your great grandpa,

your great great grandma, your great great grandpa,

your great great great grandma, your great great great grandpa,

your uncle, your aunt,

your sister, your brother,

your priest, your teacher,

your neighbor, your lifeguard,

your boyfriend, your girlfriend,

your best friend, your worst friend,

your highness, your jester,

your conductor, and your role model.

That is all i would like to say about the dog.
