My Grandmother
Eusebia Garcia or as I called her "My Nina" is the name of the most important person in my life. She is my grandmother and my role model, because she taught me to value my friends and most importantly my family. Every Sunday morning my grandmother walked to church. She was constantly late because she greeted everyone who passed her way, wishing them a good morning and sometimes stopped for a little chat. My Nina had many friends, more than I could possible remember. When my grandmother's friends came to her house, she attended them in the best way she knew. From her I learned to value each of my friends and to treat them as if they were part of my family; the same way she did. My grandmother loved her life full of friends. However what my Nina loved the most was her family. The family of her dreams with defects but many more virtues. She dreamed of a big family full of values and built by a strong unity. I am sure that every member of the Garcia's family feels proud to be part of it; as I am. My grandmother took care of passing her values to all of us. She was a strong woman that never complained about anything. She shared whatever she had with those in need. She had a positive attitude even in bad circumstances. My Nina could find something positive in the most negative thing. She used to say that there is a way to learn how to love times that make life miserable. I will always remember her voice when she said "What matters the most in my life is to keep my family together. No matter what obstacle we face we will overcome any difficulty, and we will follow the path by the hand until the day we no longer exist". Even after her death my Nina's advice will remain present forever in my heart. My grandmother still is the mainstay of the Garcia's family. I have a wonderful family, thanks to the best person in the world. That is my grandmother.
