My Grandfathers, My Influence.

Grandparents are important part of many people's lives. Grandparents are often the

ones who offer free babysitting services to anyone in the their families who need child care.

Grandparents are the ones who share their wisdom and experience with the younger generations.

They are also the ones who teach life lessons and act as role models to their children and their

Grandchildren. Most of us have wonderful memories of holiday dinner at our grandparents'

homes or of special gift that we receive from them or of fun time we spent with them. My

grandparents plays a major role in life than my own parents lives. My grandfather did play a big

part of my childhood life till I was old enough to take care of myself, since they raise me. When

my parent got devoice and my mother could no longer take care of me when I was still a young

child, it was my grandparents who took me in and raised me for the rest of my childhood. My

grandfather was the strongest influence in my life and made me the person I am today. My

grandfather thought me a lot of life lesson and a great advice to lead my life gloriously.

Going to live with my grandparents was the best thing that had ever happened to me.

For the first time in my life. I was in normal, stable home. My grandparents gave me my own

room, filled it with toys for me, and gave me more attention than I had ever had before. I woke

up every morning to a hot breakfast, went to school with a nutritious lunch packed into my

Backpack, and had a family dinner to look forward for to every night. Before this, I'd hardly ever

had a real home cooked meal but mostly ate snacks and chips and fast food since mother always working overtime and busy leading her single parent life. Finally I had

someone to help me with homework, so my grades improve in school. I also had someone to

attend my school league games. After she decided to send me to her parents in Africa. My

grandparent gave me so much love and made feel like I really mattered.

My grandfather thought me the value of hard work, and because of him I feel like I am a

responsible person at my job. When I was ten years old in middle school, life was very

challenging in terms of academic situation and being good at what I do. Ever since I was kid, the

most fun thing I usually do is to play soccer and I was very good at it and my grandparent were

very proud of me and always encourage me to works hard to be on top of every game. But in

school I was having problem to make it on top and be in the school team so I can play. Most of

friends are in the school team though they not all that special or better that me but making a good

grades to be in the school team with the help of extra touring they after school classes. My

grandparent did not have that extra money for me to take evening lesson after school, but what

my grandfather told me to do is to work hard on my academic so I can be in the school team. The

lesson he ask me to take was to wake myself up every 4am in the morning and study for two

hours before I get ready for my class in the morning. It was a life challenge for me the age of 10

years old. I over slept for the first two days and he never question why I did that. I started to

wake myself up and study before my next day classes. He always ask me 5 question on the topic

I study on. After a few weeks later I began to improve and became second in the class for that

whole semester. I was so happy when I saw my name second on the class list. Now I get to be in

the team and play for the school. When I went home that day after being able to make the team

and announce to my grandfather about it, the first word that came out from him was, who do you

give the credit to, and I said you grandpa, but he said no. All the credit goes to me for working

hard to get to where I always want to be without the help of any body. He said to me to work

hard towards life without expecting any help from anyone. He said even though life will always

knock me down but never stop dreaming or give up on something I have already started.
